42. If the EPA regulations should change after a technician becomes certified:

the technician certification is grandfathered for six months to allow time for taking the recertification exam.
a new certification test must be taken within 90 days to be recertified.
then they may as well just throw their hands up in the air and go to the coffee shop and hang out eating jelly donuts.
it is the technician's responsibility to comply with any future changes in the law.
